Arsenal manager, Unai Emery has said that Mesut Ozil remains an injury doubt ahead of this weekend’s Premier League clash with Huddersfield Town.
Ozil was ruled out of the north London derby with a back problem and also missed Wednesday’s 2-2 draw again Manchester United.
However, a number of pundits have advised Emery to sell the midfielder, adding that Arsenal look stronger without Ozil after the Gunners beat Tottenham 4-2 and drew 2-2 with the Red Devils.
The Former Paris Saint-Germain boss says Ozil is still working with the Club’s medical team, with a decision about his availability for the weekend yet to be made.
“He had backache and now he is working with the physio and we are looking at when he can play with us,” Metro UK quoted Emery as saying on Thursday.
“Tomorrow we will decide whether he can play on Saturday.”
